Thai food is popular in many western countries, having the opportunity to sample all the delicious meals prepared authentically using local ingredients is a treat. The food is prepared using the five fundamental flavors in each dish to create the overall meal - hot (spicy), sour, sweet, salty and sometimes bitter.

Breakfasts

A resort will often offer an American breakfast of bacon and egg, but its not unusual to have pork and rice, a big bowl of bowled rice and minced pork balls can set you up for the day. Its often possible to have musli with fresh fruit and yogurt.

Menus can be long with many choices, they can be a bit daunting, our guide is on hand to explain everything. We make sure you get an an opportunity to try lots of new things.

Lunch
Dinner

Noodle soups and rice dishes with chicken, pork, fish or prawns.

Sometimes guests choose from the menu, sometimes we send our guide ahead to the eating place and order up a set meal, when we arrive a selection of dishes are served up at the table for everyone to try and the food keeps coming until everyone is full up.

This is followed by local fresh fruits and jasmine tea.

Dinner is a repeat of our lunchtime routine, it depends on where we are on our travels but we have rarely been disappointed.

Thai markets are colourful and exciting places to visit, everything is fresh.

Drink only bottled water in Thailand.

There will always be bottled water available as we will carry supplies in the support vehicle.
