Food

Thai food is popular in many western countries, having the opportunity to sample all the delicious meals prepared authentically using local ingredients is a treat.

The food is prepared using the five fundamental flavors in each dish to create the overall meal - hot (spicy), sour, sweet, salty and sometimes bitter

Menus are long with many choices, they can be a bit daunting, this are the times in the day when our guides become very busy explaining everything.

We make sure you get an an opportunity to try lots of new things.

Can I drink the water ?

Drink only bottled water in Thailand.
There will always be bottled water available as we will carry supplies in the support vehicle.

Is also a good idea to use a camel back water bottle to keep the body well hydrated when we are out on the road or driving in the trails.

Breakfasts

often a resort will offer an American breakfast of bacon and egg, but its not unusual to have pork and rice, a big bowl of bowled rice and minced pork balls can set you up for the day. Its often possible to have musli with fresh fruit and yogurt.

Lunch

Noodle soups and rice dishes with chicken, pork, fish or prawns.

Dinner

Depends on where we are on our travels but we have rarely been disappointed.

Menus can be long with lots of variations based around pork chicken and fish, there are always vegetarian options.

Due to the high numbers of farang settlers in Northern Thailand its possible to eat out at variety of different types of restaurants, its not unusual for us to eat "Italian"
