TOUR ITINERARY FOLLOWS

 

Tour Dates.

JANUARY 2009. OFFROAD TOUR, JANUARY 12th to 22nd 2009.
This tour is confirmed, we now have some bookings, places available.

FEBRUARY 2009 ONROAD TOUR, 20th February to 25th 2009.
This tour is confirmed, we now have some bookings, places available.

The cost of the tour is 885 pounds per person, we would appreciate a 50% deposit payment to secure the booking. As soon as we receive payment we can start to book bikes and accommodation etc.

The Motorcycle Tours Thailand bank account is in Thailand, to make life simpler we can accept deposit payments to our bank account in the UK

TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1
Arrive Chiang Mai Monday 12 Jan 2009
we would meet up with you sometime on the Monday
We can collect you from airport and transfer you to Chiang Mai hotel
accommodation costs are included for the Monday.

DAY 2
Official Start of the tour Tuesday 13th Jan
collect bikes. leave Chiang Mai and head off into the mountains. This day is on road allowing time to settle into the bikes. later in the day we ride out to Military Border post on the Thailand / Burma border

DAY3
Wednesday 14th Jan
all day off road trail riding, we hire local guide who leads us off on a trail, we visit local hill tribe villages, meet the locals take some photos. Stay the night in busy town in resort accommodation and wander the night markets.

DAY4
Thursday 15th Jan
all day off road trail riding, visit cave system in the evening to watch swifts arriving to roost and coloney of bats leaving, stay in Jungle resort accommodation.

DAY5
Friday 16th Jan
visit local cave system in the morning, option for and some off road trail riding in the afternoon. 2nd night at Jungle resort

DAY6
Saturday 17th Jan
on road today - morning visit to Thai Wat, lunch in town followed by visit to Long neck village by long tail boat, , afternoon road ride to resort accommodation

DAY7
Sunday 18th Jan
off road trail riding most of the day, stay in resort accommodation

DAY8
Monday 19th Jan
off road trail riding stay at resort accommodation

DAY9
Tuesday 20th Jan
on road drive to top of Doi Intanon - highest mountain in Thailand, followed by interesting ride back to Chiang Mai. hotel accommodation

DAY10
Wednesday 21st Jan
transfer to airport.
